A member asked:

What medications can someone take thats diagnosed with hpv?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No cure: Currently, there is no cure for hpv, only treatments & because it is transmitted through skin-to-skin contact, condoms will not always protect you from this either. Treatment is aimed at finding the precancerous cells and removing them before they turn into cancer. We can't remover the virus just watch for early changes leading up to cancer in high risk types of hpv. Types 16 and 18 cause most.
