Herpes and Eyes!: Ouch! hopefully this is not a shingles outbreak and is just a herpes outbreak. You need to be on treatment as soon as possible. This would be an anti-viral such as Acyclovir or val-acylovir. But, anything like this close to your eye would warrant an urgent visit with your physician or even the emergency room if the pain is intolerable.
