A member asked:

Is yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) birth control safe for my 16yr old daughter?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It's all relative: Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) has been found to increase the risk of blood clots (called vte) to a greater degree than certain other types of birth control pills. Have her ask her gyn doc about this.
