Get Evaluated: Get evaluated. Besides stds, yeast or fungal infections can cause stinging and burning. So can herpes, allergic reaction (soaps - bath or laundry, sprays - deodorant or scented, chemicals or dyes in clothing, etc), friction, trauma, hpv or genital warts, certain foods, dehydration, excretion of chemicals or compounds that have been ingested, medications, street drugs, etc.
