Does taking birth control pills regularly have side effects?

Yes: All meds have side effects. The pill has been associated with irregular bleeding, for ex. But typically women have more predictable, and shorter, lighter periods. Occ. There is temporary breast tenderness or nausea - but generally pill is well tolerated.
