Indefinite: Aside from testicular "shrinkage, " there is atrophy of part of the pituitary gland that makes lh and fsh, which stimulate the testes. The duration will depend on what steroid you took abd how long. Earliest, a couple of months, up to six months. 5dht and testosterone are used as a male contaceptive in europe.

Medical use?: What kind of steroids? Medical use of legal steroids may not affect sperm counts at all. Anabolic steroids for body building? Bad idea. Guaranteed it will be at least 3 months from when you stop, and if you're unlucky it may be longer.
