May not be related: If you have not missed a dose of Depo-Provera then you are not ovulating and your ovaries are not active. There are many causes of lower abdominal pain from appendicitis, gas pain, constipation, ovarian cysts, bladder infections etc. I suggested scheduling to see the doc at the same time you go in for your Depo-Provera shot for an exam.
