Don't worry: The important thing is that your period came. You aren't pregnant if you had a period that is normal in duration and flow and came about the right time. Its not unusual for your period to come a day early or late. This is just biologic variation and isn't significant. If you don't want to get pregnant, you may want regular contraception such as the pill. Best wishes!
