Is it possible to have follicles while on birth control? i thought birth control suppresses it?

Yes: Although when taking correctly OCP's with prevent pregnancy, not all pills will suppress the ovaries from producing follicles equally. Pill packaged with fewer hormone free days are more likely to suppress follicle formation. Continuous formulations and 24-26 hormone day regimes work better than the old 21 day pill packs.
