Is nordette (ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel) used as ecp still effective when taken close to ovulation period? there's no other available ecp on our country due to conservative gov.

Nordette: when taken as 4 pills initially followed by 4 pills in 12 hours can be used as an emergency contraceptive. If a egg was just released that could impact efficacy. However, in general, emergency contraception can be used at any time in a woman's cycle.
