It depends: Warts are due to HPV, and certain creams or ointments can be very effective in clearing warts (e.g. Aldara®, Zyclara®, Condylox®, Veregen® in the US, other names elsewhere). However, there are no creams to treat non-wart HPV infections, such as abnormal pap smear or invisible HPV skin lesions. First get a professional exam to confirm the diagnosis and follow the doc's advice about best Rx for you.
