Unprotected: intercourse will ultimately lead to pregnancy. Thick, sting-like, clear mucous is actually a good sign that you are fertile; however, it only takes 1 sperm cell for you to get pregnant. Do a home pregnancy test, monitor your cycles and if you miss your next cycle, get a blood pregnancy test and a pelvic exam. Time to consider definitive BC-pills, condoms, foam spermicidal gel, sponge etc.

Ovulation: The discharge you are describing is the normal change in discharge during ovulation. You may be pregnant, the only way of knowing for sure is to do a blood HCG level in a week or two from now. If you are trying to get pregnant just keep taking your prenatal vitamins and get plenty of rest until it's time for your test. No alcohol or tobacco. Good Luck
