NO: It simply means that your titer was higher the one time compared to the other. You may have it checked in 6 months and it is back down again. The number is not as important as positive or Negative with IGG, which simply means you had a history of HSV . The IGM would signify active infection. Your Health will not be ruined. Best wishes.

No: IgG is the protective antibody from a previous infection and IgM is the one for the acute infection. The rising IgG titer and low IgM titer means that you do have some protection from HSV and the disease is not likely to be active.
