Safe sex: After 2 weeks you are generally pretty safe to have unprotected sex, although the odds of pregnancy continue to drop until they reach maximum effectiveness at about a month on the pill (3 weeks of hormone + 1 week placebo for your cycle). As with other birth control pills, they don't protect against STD's, so if you have a concern, remember to use a condom. Good luck!
