Syphilis, rarely: In its late stages, syphilis can cause "moth eaten alopecia", an irregular, patchy form of hair loss on the scalp. It is quite rare. If you are concerned and/or at risk, have a blood test for syphilis. But that's the only potential cause of STD-related hair loss. If it's a question of just general hair thinning, I'm confident it isn't due to any STD.
