Breakthru bleeding: Persistent bleeding on Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) is one of the more common reasons for stopping it. Its annoying! If you are persistent, however, you may be fortunate and have no periods at all. Over half of all women taking Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) have no periods after 1 year of use. Best wishes!
