Not entirely: There is no time that is completely safe if you are not using contraception. How risky it is depends on how long your cycle is and how long you bleed. Ovulation usually happens about 14 days before your next period starts and the highest chance of pregnancy is a few days before and after that. If you don't want to be pregnant, you need to begin a reliable method of contraception and use condoms.
