Is it normal to have extreme breast pain on first month of birth control ?

Possible: It is not normal but definitely possible. Most likely this is caused by the hormones so work with your doctor to find a type with less side effects. Never abruptly stop taking pills without discussing options with your doctor. Switching to taking pills at bedtime sometimes will help.
