Several ways: Several possiblities exist. The tests aren't perfect, and your test or your husband's may be wrong. STDs can go away without treatment. Maybe your husband was treated and cured before he was tested. Maybe you have it from a distant past partner; some STDs can exist for years in one partner and never be transmitted. Maybe re-post this with the STD in question and details of both your test results.
