If someone has a strain of hpv, or has had the hpv vaccine can this make them less likely to contract hsv2 or would the virus effect them the same?

HPV and HSV2: They are 2 different viruses causing different types of sexually transmitted diseases. Unfortunately, HPV vaccine has no prophylactic effect on HSV2. I can not emphasize enough the importance of using barrier-type protection every time during intercourse to avoid transmission of these infections.

No: These are different viruses: human papilloma virus and herpes simplex virus.

No difference: HPV and HSV are two distinct viruses, and having HPV or getting the vaccine down not effect your risk of contracting HSV..
