I started my next birth control pac 2 days late. i know the protection is compromised, but will i ovulate now or will my body try to ovulate normal?

No: If your normal menstrual cycle when you are off birth control pill comes every 28 days or so, then you may ovulate in 5 more days. This is true if your birth control pack has all sugar pills for the last 7 pills.
