Possibly: There's no absolute pattern; many women claim to gain weight when taking progestins. Is it the pills for sure? Hard to say. It's reasonable you might gain water weight, this will drop once you stop the medicine. Progestins do not make you gain mass (fat), so this would not be caused by meds and would likely not go away on stopping.
