Spotting: Everyone reacts a little different to medications and the hormones involved in the birth control pills are common for causing different reactions in different women. Sometimes, your body needs to "regulate" to the new medication, or you may need to try a different pill to offset the heavy spotting you are experiencing with the Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol). Best wishes.
