HPV: HPV is a viral infection that usually does not affect your blood count. If there is a very active infection, you might see a lower white blood cell count with a higher lymphocytes count than granulocyte count. Lymphocytes are the white cells that fight viral infections, granulocytes are the cells that fight bacterial infections. You also may see more monocytes which are the repair cells.
