A member asked:

Can you suggest how to deal with the pain from primary dysmenorrhea naturally without going on birth control pills?

Try Naproxen: Try starting Naproxen (Aleve) 1 week before your period is due to start. Continue taking it regularly through the period. This is sometimes helpful. If available in your area, you may want to try massage therapy or accupuncture. Exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor may be beneficial as well.
