Ovulation: WE cannot tell you when she ovulates, but the key to fertility is ovulation. The release of the egg from the ovary happens just shy of half way through the cycle. To cause pregnancy sperm have to be ready to impregnate the egg when it is ovulated. Sperm live for five days after ejaculation and thus the five days prior to ovulation are the days pregnancy happens.
