Yes: Although you are most likely to get pregnant mid-cycle, it is not the only time you can get pregnancy. Women get pregnant during their menses. Your menstrual cycle does not always predict ovulation and therefore peak risk of pregnancy. If you do not want to become pregnant consider proven birth control methods. Condoms are an excellent choice since they provide good pregnancy and STD prevention.
