72 hours.: The morning after pill can be taken up to 72 hours after unprotected sex. There is another product carried by Planned Parenthood I think called ELLA (ulipristal acetate). It can be taken up to 5 days after. Google ELLA (ulipristal acetate) . And yes it blocks the implantation by creating a hostile environment.
