Next month: You should have a regular period within the next month after taking the ipill. It can sometimes make your period a week earlier or a week later. However, if taken within 24 and no later than 72 hrs it's 95% effective at preventing pregnancy.

Can't specifically: predict. Potential Side effects w emergency contraception include menstrual flow changes (spotting, bleeding, early or late period). Take pregnancy test & notify Dr if your period is 7 or > days late.
