Almost always sex: Non-gonococcal urethritis or ngu, sometimes known as nsuis almost caused through sexual contact. The most common cause is bacterial duie to chlamydia, and less commonly ureaplasma, hemophylus or mycoplasma. Trichcomonas, a parasitic infection and rarely herpes (a virus) can be causative. Ureaplasma ngu can be transmitted without sex. Non infectious causes are catheterization or spermicidal cream.

My advice regarding NGU is to get treatment ASAP. Also contact any sex partners you have had over the previous three months, you could have been infected by any one of them or even passed it on. Do not engage in sex antil you are symptom free and then always use a condom for mutual protection. Untreated NGU or NSU can lead to infertility.

Why do I get UTI every time I have sex?

Voiding after sex.: I presume you are a female. After intercourse it is important that you go to the bathroom and empty your bladder. Not doing so along with strong drinks like coffee and sodas, wiping up when you urinate and holding your urine too long are all risk factors for a urinary tract infection. Limit coffee and sodas, eliminate all together is best. Respond to the urge to go to the bathroom.

Yes: If you feel up to it, sex should pose no issue. Just remember that birth control pills will not be effective for up to 30 days following a course of antibiotics.

No: You should continue your antibiotics as prescribed, but if you are having no pain it should be ok to have sex. You should empty your bladder as soon as practical afterwards.

Uti : Not a good idea. Could prolong symptoms of a UTI and or make it worst if you are not receiving treatment.
