Cortisone: OTC 1 % hydrocortisone can be used on the scrotum safely in most instances however do not apply cortisone to any genital area without medical consultation. The skin of the scrotum is quite thin, and overuse can cause an infection to an already irritated moist area of the body

Can't say: If you have a condition that requires cortisone treatment to the scrotum, then you should follow your doctor's prescription. I do not recommend applying cortisone anywhere without a medical reason.
