Treatment is cause: It's not typically the cancer itself that causes erectile dysfunction, but the treatment for the cancer that can cause it. The treatments for the following cancers have a higher likelihood of causing ed: bladder cancer, colon cancer, rectal cancer, and prostate cancer. Surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and hormone therapy for cancer are the frequent causes for cancer related ed.
