Birth Control : Unfortunately with my experience there is never 100% certainty with birth control. I would say if you have been taking birth control regularly for several years it is less likely to be pregnant. However to be be certain it is always better to do a home urine pregnancy test which is the same as you would get in an er.

Yes: If you are taking your birth control pills regularly and getting your withdrawal bleed as expected, you should be safe. The whole point of being on the birth control pill is prevention of pregnancy.
