I had intercourse the day after my period ended and i took and emergency contraceptive the day after & 6 days later im noticing bleeding. cause?

Normal: Sometimes, depending on where you are at in your cycle when you take the emergency contraception, you can have some irregular bleeding following administration of the drug. Make sure to continue to use birth control if you don't wish to become pregnant. Wait and see if this is a cycle or breakthrough bleeding. Talk to doctor if cycle continues to be abnormal.
