Can constant burning be due to herpes?

No: Herpes doesn't cause prolonged symptoms. Herpes blisters or ulcers can burn until they heal, usually within a few days. Burning without visible sores, or burning by itself that goes on for more than a few days, isn't herpes. See your doctor if you have this sort of problem. Good luck with it!
