Vigorous sex: Condoms are made to standards which lower the chance of bursting. But vigorous sexual activity, especially with adjunctive sexual toys and aids, can increase the likelihood of a rupture. As they are usually made of latex, they can also age so don't let them site on the shelf too long. Since they are mass produced, no doubt, a few get to market intrinsically defective.

Condom breakage: Condoms that are past the expiration date may have v burst strength, v elasticity & may leak. Condoms may also become degraded if kept in a hot place (like your wallet). Using an oil based lubricant or lack of lubricant can also ^ risk of breakage. Wearing a condom that is too tight, incorrect application or having a partner with a very tight vagina are also risks.
