3 Major causes: Labial swelling can be due to an injury(trauma) such as a bicycle fall on a crossbar, an infection such as a Bartholin gland cyst/abscess or a pelvic growth blocking the venous flow from the pelvis. These are not the only causes, but a GYN MD office visit can determine with more specificity.
