Yes: If you stop taking birth control then it is expected that you would trigger a menstrual cycle. The simple solution is to restart your depo-provera shot.

Normal: Bleeding--spotting or otherwise is a common side effect of getting the Depo-Provera injection but it can also occur from a late injection; if the bleeding persist or does not self resolve you should call your doctor.
