Normally: Most women continue to ovulate while on implanon. Therefore, if you were getting monthly periods, your cycle should not be significantly disturbed by removing the implant.

Anovulation?: This sounds like anovulation. Anovulation occurs when the ovary fails to release an egg. This alters hormonal levels, thereby disrupting the cycle.

No: See your gyn for an exam, blood work and ultrasound, there are many things that can be done so you do not have to put up with heavy 7 day periods !

Not likely. : Implanon is one of the most effective birth control methods. You don't ovulate on implanon. Cervical mucous monitoring is highly unreliable
