Safe: Nifedipine is safe in lactation. Even safer is topical Diltiazem which is a first cousin of nifedipine. Most anal fissures heal in a couple of weeks. If you still have issues after 6 weeks, Botox or surgery is indicated. Meanwhile keep your stool really soft by eating at least 1 cup of fiber one or all bran cereal daily. Good luck. I know it hurts!
