A 18-year-old male asked about a 17-year-old female:

is soreness in your vagina before your period a sign you're about to start your period?

Possibly: Estrogen is very low right before your menstrual cycle, so it's possible that's the reason for the soreness. It's also possible that you have a yeast or bacterial infection. If it were me, i might have doctor check and make sure infection isn't the cause. Best wishes.

It can be: Tailbone injuries can be extremely painful. Fortunately, they rarely cause any permanent damage and rarely need any kind of intervention. Unfortunately, little can be done to speed up recovery or change its course. Treatment usually involves avoiding pain, using soft cushions or doughnuts, and resting.

Why does my calf hurt when I stand on my toes?

Dr. Eric Lullove

Tight Calf Muscles!: The reason your calf hurts is how tight the entire muscle group is. When you stand on your toes, the calf muscle contracts, and if it is tight, then you may have pain. Performing runners' stretches are very beneficial and should help reduce the pain. If it continues, seek medical treatment with a podiatrist.

No easy answer: Ongoing pain in the upper abdomen that has not responded to standard treatments can pose a difficult problem to solve. Best to start with a thorough evaluation by a good gastroenterologist.
A 65-year-old female asked:

One of the answers for rectocele treatment included the words vaginal pessary . What is this?

Supportive ring: Rectocele occurs when pelvic floor muscle lose support; rectum, usually uterus, maybe bladder sag. Pessary is a ring inserted into vagina to help keep things up and perky (kind of like a vaginal truss). This helps keep the rectum straight (as name implies), and lets it do its job of evacuating stool out, not bulge into vaginal vault.
