Normal: Many women have tender breasts in the premenstrual part of the cycle. This is, unfortunately, a very common complaint. There could be changes in your hormones that caused you to have it this month, but not other months.

Hormones: Assuming you have no breats lumps, etc, you may have fibrocystic breast changes which your gyn can diagnose so see your gyn.
