Can i take birth control pills eventhough i haven't had my period? my period is irregular so i have no idea when it will come... thank you

Starting BCP's: The traditional way to start bcp's is start on the 5th day of bleeding or the sunday after a normal period. Since you are irregular this poses a problem. My suggestion is to do a blood pregnancy test to be certain that you are not pregnant (assuming that you have used condoms when having sex the last month), and if negative then start the bcp's.
