You are normal: This is normal. Most females, if not all females, orgasm through clitoral stimulation. Many do not get enough clitoral stimulation through penetration or intercourse alone to orgasm, however. This is a secret that i wish all the females in the world would hear. If you desensitize the clitoris you will not reach orgasm.
