Many but not all: There are a lot of different types of stds. Some can be tested by blood and others will need either swabs or urine testing and still others are diagnosed by appearance and maybe even biopsy. Essentially, hiv, syphilis, and hepatitis b and c are the main infections diagnosed by blood testing. If you are concerned, you should get an exam, and other testing as necessary as well.
