A member asked:

I haven't had a period in six months after stopping birth control what is wrong? my period always been regular before birth control so what is wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not normal: It's not normal for a woman to miss a period for 6 months. There could be something else going on, a problem with thyroid, pituitary, weight issues (thin/heavy) that are causing this. 6 months is the cut off for seeing a gynecologist, meaning, i think you should make an appt to discuss with ob/gyn. You wouldn't want to miss anything! good luck!
