Probably not: The pill is 99% effective if taken correctly, and irregular bleeding does not mean something is wrong. That being said, 99% is not 100% and if you do have irregular bleeding you should make sure you are taking the pill consistently and regularly and are not taking anything else that might possibly interfere (antibiotics in particular).
