Contraception: Douching will not help irregular bleeding from the Depo-Provera shot. Douchibg is really not recommended because it changes the vaginal acidity. Irregular bleeding is normal with the Depo-Provera shot. It normally improves after a few months.

No: Douching will have no effect on the bleeding. It will only clean out whatever is in the vagina. The bleeding is coming from the uterus and douching has no effect on the uterus or the hormonal imbalance causing the bleeding.
