While on levlen ed i had no side effects as soon as i switched over to yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) i had fatigue moody angry and emotional but yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) is lower dose than levlen?

Different progestero: There are two different hormones in bcp. Though Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) has less estrogen than levlen, Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) has a different progesterone. When women have mood swings on bcp it is usually from the type of progesterone. Sounds like you feel better on the hormones in levlen, and it is a good bcp. Go back to it, or speak with your doc about a pill with the same Progesterone as levlen.
