A member asked:

Started (first timer) birth control a week before my period. i now have one active week left. will this only delay it by 2 weeks or make it lighter?

Hard to say: Likely your period will come on time and normal flow, given that you started when you did. It's possible that it will be in 3 weeks, when you get to the end of the pill pack, but more likely that you'll have it. Every woman is different this way, but that would be most common outcome. Don't, thus, be surprised by irregular bleeding pattern for these first 6 weeks.
